I got in my email box today a letter from the Notaris, with an attached letter that says:
"...bericht ik u hierbij dat, voor zover onze informatie reikt, de gemeente Amstelveen inmiddels de bouwvergunning voor het project, waarvan de door u gekochte woning deel uitmaakt, heeft afgegeven en gepubliceerd.
Zes weken na publicatie van de afgifte wordt de bouwvergunning onherroepelijk als er geen bezwaar is ingediend...."
Which basically means that the City hall of Amstelveen has approved the building of the project and has made it public knowledge that the houses will be built. If within six weeks no one raises an objection, the permit will be passed. Happy news indeed! In addition, we are invited to make an appointment with the Notaris to sign the papers for the final sale.
Today we had a couple visit the house to see if they were interested. They seemed very positive indeed, but want to wait to see if their own apartment will generate some interest. So again, waiting for something to develop. But still, it is nice to hear the positive opinions of people who come round.
