Well folks, the contracts are all signed. We are now the proud owners of a pit of sand :)
We had an appointment with the notaris (notary) on the 11th of September, where the contract was explained to us (in English! that was cool) and then we put our signatures down and now we own the land :)
After we signed, we went to the site to see how far they'd come with building. When we pulled into the venue, here is what we saw :D

But you get the idea: the plots start right behind that tall white column, and if you look carefully you can see the posts that demarcate the different houses. I can't wait to get in and take a closer look soon :D
